Altered book - Gartenlust

Diese schlichte Hülle verbirgt ein "altered book" zum Thema Garten. Ursprünglich enthielt es Gedichte von Casanova - wobei ich bisher gar nicht wußte, daß dieser Mann auch Gedichte geschrieben hat.

Besonders gut traf sich hier der Umstand, daß eines der Gedichte von Rosen handelte, so daß ich gut Bilder und Text miteinander kombinieren konnte.

The book you see above is an altered book about the joy a garden can bring. The original book contained poetry from Casanova - I didn't even know until now that this man wrote poems.

What I loved about this book is that one of these poems was about roses so that I was able to combine the orignal text with the pictures and other embellishments.
