Wir sind zurück von einem denkwürdigen Kurzurlaub auf Usedom. Denkwürdig insofern, als dort seit mehr als 30 Jahren erstmals wieder die Ostsee zugefroren ist. Ich habe ja schon einiges an Meer auf dieser Erde gesehen und erlebt, aber so etwas denn nun doch noch nicht! Ich kann mir so ungefähr vorstellen, wie es Leuten wie Amundsen oder Scott gegangen sein muß. Allerdings hatten wir jederzeit die Möglichkeit umzudrehen und uns in unser kuscheliges Appartment zu einem Kaffee zurückzubegeben. Die Bilder allerdings begeistern mich immer wieder neu.



We are back from a memorable short trip to Usedom. Memorable insofar as the Baltic sea has been frozen which happened the last time more than 30 years back). I have seen and experienced different kinds of sea on our earth, but this was a first! Now I can imagine how people like Scott or Amundsen must have felt. We however had the choice to just turn back and return to our cosy apartment and drink some hot coffee at any time. I am really crazy about these photos.
