Vor sich hinwursteln - Just working along

Ich habe die Blocks für den Hawaii-Quilt zusammengenäht. Das Mittelstück ist bereits fertig, ich muß morgen noch Stoff für den Rand kaufen und außerdem Vlies. Rückseitenstoff ist da. Noch bin ich nicht ganz sicher, ob ich nur einen weißen Rand machen soll, oder ob noch etwas Farbe drumherum gehört. Ich denke aber, ich lasse alles weiß, so daß die applizieren Stücke mehr auf dem Hintergrund zu schweben scheinen. Der letzte Abschluß könnte dann wieder blau werden. Auch die Frage des Quiltgarns ist noch zu klären. Ich stelle noch ein Foto ein, vielleicht gibt es die eine oder andere gute Idee aus der Bloggersphere.



Have been sewing together the blocks for the Hawaii quilt. The top itself is nearly finished. Tomorrow I will have to buy some fabric for the border and the batting. I am not quite sure yet if I will leave the border all white or if I am going to add some color. But I think leaving it white will have the appliqué sort of float on the background. The binding could be blue. And I have yet to decide how to quilt it. I will upload a photo, perhaps there will be some advice from the blogosphere.
