Winterwonderland

Schnee, Schnee!

Man sollte es nicht für möglich halten, aber es ist schon wieder eine Schneelawine über uns geschwappt! Dabei hatte ich wirklich gedacht, wir hätten für diesen Winter genug gehabt. Aber nein, es hat noch einmal einen ganzen Tag und eine ganze Nacht geschneit. Mal abgesehen davon, daß das Autofahren wirklich keinen Spaß macht, sieht es einfach viel schöner aus als wenn alles so grau in grau ist wie in den letzten Tagen. Eigentlich liebe ich Schnee. Wenn ich nicht wirklich jede Besorgung mit dem Auto machen und auch zur Arbeit fahren müßte, würde ich es nur genießen .



Who would have thought that another load of snow would hit us so soon? I really thought we have had enough for this winter. But no - another day and another night of snowing just went by. Apart from the fact that driving isn't much fun it really looks very pretty. I like snow. But I have to do everything by car, I have to drive to my office, and when the snow ploughs don't even come near our house, that sucks.

Wieder da

Ja also, wie soll ich es sagen, ich bin wieder da. Eigentlich war ich ja gar nicht weg. Okay, während der Feiertage und die Woche vorher bei meinen Eltern, aber ich bin ja schon lange wieder zu Hause. Aber irgendwie stecke ich momentan in einem Motivationsloch. Ich kann mich zu nichts aufraffen und hänge nur so rum, spiele mit meinem Weihnachtsgeschenk (einem Nintendo), lese, und surfe im Internet. Kann man so spät noch alles Gute für das neue Jahr wünschen? Ich tue es einfach, gute Wünsche haben noch nie geschadet.



Inzwischen habe ich nach dem Motto "Viel hilft viel" noch ein paar kleine Büchlein mit Collagen versehen, die ich verschenken will. Nach wie vor gefällt mir der Vintage-Stil sehr. Er ist so romantisch. Und demnächst will ich mit einer Freundin einen Austausch in Richtung Art Journaling machen, das wird mich hoffentlich wieder der Kreativität in die Arme treiben.



Well, I am back. That is to say, I wasn't really away. Oh yes, those few days during X-mas with my family. But I have been back for quite some time. However, somehow, I seem to enjoy doing nothing quite a lot lately. I have been playing with my X-mas present (a Nintendo), reading and surfing the net. Is it too late to wish you a happy new year? Well, I hope not. There cannot be too many good wishes, can there?



In the meantime I made some more little booklets with collage on the front which I am going to give away as a present. As before, the collages are vintage style, I somehow love it. It looks so romantic. And I am going to work on an exchange with a friend on art journaling which will hopefully lead to my being more creative!
